Birchbox Bloggers Breakfast feat LAQA & Co
Where Art and Make-up Collide.
In December I had the opportunity to meet some wonderful bloggers, including Suzanna of Suzy’s Closet and Adri of Beauty With A Twist. It was a great opportunity to chat with other beauty mavens. The Lip Bar was a great introduction to LAQA&Co‘s new lippies. The Lip Bar menu consisted of Glitter, Ombre, and Two-Tone. MUA Christopher (loso_mua) gave me a classic red lip which for me is a challenge to achieve.
I had the opportunity to chat with Nicole Lee Co-Owner of the New York based brand. I was taken aback by what sets this cosmetic line a part from others. It was their love and appreciation for art. Their packaging is result of that fusion. Where a featured artist’s work gets an opportunity to make a global impression. Expressing yourself through color and giving back to the community is the foundation of what LAQA&Co is all about. Originally starting off with a polish pen that was made with the “on the go” girl in mind, the brand has since then set off to include lip pencils, glossy lip pencils and jumbo pencils too. The hardest part is choosing. I say grab them all and make several statements all while supporting a local artist. What is not to love about that.
