#SNOWMAGEDDON 2015- My Glam Snow Day!
Aside from the obvious reasons like a day off of work or school Snow Days are perfect for pampering yourself, cooking a dish you been wanting to try and/or binge watching your favorite shows. I happened to take full advantage of my spare time by indulging in a new series and being super productive; adding new content to M3 GLAM. To properly prepare I made sure to get some munchies from the supermarket because once I got indoors I was not planning on going back out. My list consisted of a bag of potatoes, eggs, bread, a six pack, and swiss rolls. Super random but all relevant. Here is how I put everything to use.
My night began by raiding my Birchboxes and playing around with some of the products, I have sample overload and don’t get to try things immediately. I decided on a fresh mani and pedi using Ruffian Red. I loved that I did not really need to use more than a coat to get the true red color. And the added shine totally makes it look like a salon style mani.
By now you may have heard the buzz that is the not so new web series, Money and Violence. It first aired in August 2014 but seems like lately it has been getting more traction. Since episodes are about twenty minutes long I gave in and made it straight through 10 episodes. Money and Violence, based in Brooklyn is a gritty plot about two stick up kids who take their chance in the streets to make a come up. Definitely shaky on the acting skills but relatable in the sense that you know where some of the scenes take place and although you may not have an idea of what the lifestyle they live is about its enough to keep you intrigued. Check out the first episode I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. I kicked back with a beer and binge through.
Brunch on a Tuesday! Why not? Lately I have been loving to chef it up. Experimenting with different seasonings and making recipes my own. I usually don’t have time to make a big breakfast on work days so I wanted to take advantage and make a yummy egg white omelet. I kept it simple and only added spinach, onions, cheese and turkey. I made baked potatoes the night before so used some of the left-overs. I cut them up and roasted them on low heat and seasoned them with garlic, thyme, sea salt and pepper. It was delish!
I would agree that doing my own mani and pedi, catching up on a new show and cooking were all productive things that I enjoyed doing. How was your Snow Day? What did you do?
