Video: The Weeknd- The Zone feat Drake
The Weeknd released The Trilogy on November 9, 2012 via Republic Records, the set is a compilation of his three debuted mixtapes from 2011 House of Balloons, Thursday and Echoes of Silence respectively. The 22 year old Abel Tefsaye of Canada compiles some of the best music production on those three mixtapes and unless you had not a clue who the Weeknd was in 2011 most of the songs may already be familiar to us. With numerous plays on the radion, sold out concerts and tons of festival appearance it is almost unheard of to put out an album of prior work and name it Trilogy and still be super succesful. But for The Weeknd the loyalthy of the fans did not stray. For Abel it is all about perfecting his craft, the presention and the artistry that comes along with officially releasing an album. The fans can really do get quality. You can expect to hear three new songs Twenty Eight, Valerie and The Zone and the sound as a whole remastered. Abels purpose in the Trilogy is to have the listener take it all in in one sitting. May be a challenge but worth the most exhilirating music experience yet. He crafts the story line ever so fluidly it is totally different from hearing all the pieces seperately. Check out below for the newest video off of Trilogy The Zone feat Drake.
